New GTA 6 Age Rating Confirms Game Will Feature Sex Scenes

Image
GTA 6 will have sex scenes, according to a new listing from international ratings boards. In New Zealand and Australia, GTA 6's store page on PlayStation was updated to include the game's official age rating. A similar thing happened this morning with the UK and American versions of the game , but the New Zealand and Australia versions offer one distinct difference: the mention of sex scenes. Yes, it's true: there will be intercourse in GTA 6. If you're asking yourself, "Is that different from GTA 5?" Yes, it appears to be. GTA 5's rating makes no mention of sex scenes, despite there being at least one. Midway through the game, Trevor can be seen getting freaky with Johnny Klebitz's girlfriend (granted, it's pretty brief). GTA 6's sex scenes may be much more detailed and graphic, especially since the story revolves around the romantic relationship between Jason and Lucia. Various trailers have shown sensual, intimate scenes between the two ch...

Riot Games Co-Founder Says 2XKO Needed ‘Hundreds of Thousands, if Not Millions’ of Monthly Active Players to Survive

Image
The co-founder, co-chairman, and chief product officer of Riot Games, Marc Merrill, revealed the number of monthly active users 2XKO would have needed to justify its budget, and the eye-popping amount has sparked an animated debate within the fighting game community. Speaking on The Lemonade Stand , Merrill went into detail about what happened behind the scenes at Riot to cause 2XKO’s catastrophic failure, and provided a ballpark figure of monthly active users the game would have needed in order to justify how much money and time was spent on its development. It’s no surprise that this figure was, to put it lightly, pretty unrealistic for a fighting game; Merrill said that, considering its cost structure, 2XKO would have needed a player count “in the high hundreds of thousands, if not millions” to rationalize its continued support. Merrill also mentioned Street Fighter 6, saying the 2023 release of Capcom’s juggernaut title threw off their plans to take a big chunk of the fighting gam...

Ordering DoorDash Is Too Hard, So an AI Agent Will Soon Be Able to Order Pizza for You

Image
Ordering food through DoorDash is probably one of the biggest examples of how modern life has grown incredibly convenient, but apparently, there are still some people who think scrolling through an app is too much work. Now, you'll be able to just text DoorDash and have it order food for you without needing to figure out what, exactly, you feel like eating. DoorDash announced the feature earlier this week, and the idea is that you'll text an AI agent through iMessages – apparently Android support will come sometime in the future – an idea of what you want for dinner. Then, DoorDash's AI agent will browse through all the restaurants in your area and give you suggestions based on your past orders and what you included in your text. One of the examples DoorDash includes is asking its bot for your usual Friday night order, and it'll remember what you usually get, along with any modifications you usually make. This is already pretty easy to do within the app, which usually ...

Original God of War Creator Defends Laufey's Creative Director From Harassment After His Critical Remarks Go Viral

Image
David Jaffe, the creator, co-writer, and director for the original God of War game, has cleared up his viral comments about Ariel Lawrence, creative director for Laufey. Ariel Lawrence has been with the God of War franchise since its very first game — but creator David Jaffe, who left the series behind in 2007 to form his own studio, says he never got along with her during his time at Santa Monica Studio. He described their contentious work relationship in a September 2026 live stream while reacting to footage for God of War Laufey , where he claimed their personalities clashed and that he didn’t feel as though she was truly passionate about the games they were making. “I have no problem with female directors at all,” he began. “This woman started as an assistant producer back when we were making the first God of War. Her and I never got along. She thought I was kind of obnoxious and I thought she was pretentious. She didn’t put the audience first. “People that I didn’t get along with...

007 First Light Is Getting Free DLC Later This Week

Image
007 First Light is getting new, free DLC later this week. IO Interactive has teased the new DLC via a short video on its socials, confirming it will arrive on Thursday, October 2. The DLC will be free, but as of right now, IO is remaining tight-lipped about what it will include. However, based on some prior info, we can likely assume that this is the long-awaited Aston Martin Valhalla update. This content has been teased since launch in the game's main menu, and it appears it's finally being added to the game. This is expected to include a new TacSim mission featuring the Aston Martin Valhalla, which is used near the end of the game as part of a massive set piece. Given the extensive wait, it seems hard to imagine this will be just a short, single TacSim mission. This may add some other items that were revealed as part of a larger roadmap for the game , such as new game+, new gadgets, and other missions and content. A free DLC is just around the bend. Tune in on October 1st. #...

Coinbase Joins Pokémon TCG Hype With Its Own Digital Pack-Opening Service

Image
Coinbase is joining the Pokémon TCG craze with its own digital pack-opening platform. Coinbase, a US-based cryptocurrency exchange platform, is moving in on the TCG market with a particular focus on Pokémon. At least, that’s what it seems like, based on a tweet it published on September 28. “Your binder is about to get a major upgrade,” the post reads. “Rip packs on your phone. Every pull backed by a real, physical card. Vault it or ship it. Soon on Coinbase.” Your binder is about to get a major upgrade. Rip packs on your phone. Every pull backed by a real, physical card. The platform also responded to a few comments that mentioned the popular monster-catching franchise; one user wrote...

New Game Ready to Add Meat and Blood to Steam’s Tidying-Up Craze

Image
Steam has seen an avalanche of cheap and cheerful tidying-up games lately, from libraries to magic shops to toy stores, but the genre is about to get weird. New game Something is Wrong With the Library is still about organizing books, but this time around, you're doing it while dealing with "psychic manifestations" made of flesh. Makes sense, considering the walls of the building are full of the corpses of homeless people. You can wishlist it now on Steam , ready for its release later this fall. Unlike most of the clearing clutter genre, Something is Wrong With the Library stands out because it appears to have a (deeply messed up) story to go with all the chores. You play as the library's former administrator, Phillip Shed, who has one night to organize the books and deal with the gory consequences of the bodies in the walls. According to the Steam listing, players can also expect to find something called The Drowning Room, which doesn't sound ominous at all. Meat...
