Halo Studios seems to have teased a Halo 2 remake in a secret ending cutscene for Halo: Campaign Evolved . Microsoft's Halo 1 remake is finally out in the wild for those who gained early access by purchasing its Premium or Collector's Editions. Just one day removed from its early launch, that means many have already blown through the game multiple times, and some have even discovered a tease for a Halo 2 remake. Those who manage to beat Halo: Campaign Evolved on Legendary difficulty will be greeted with a new secret cutscene featuring none other than Sergeant Johnson (via ComicBook ). Beginning by showing him watching a clip from the original secret ending, Johnson ditches the Elite to kick up his feat on the beach. The wait is finally over for Riftbound’s Vendetta booster set, as its release is now just around the corner. This will be the League of Legends TCG’s fourth big drop with pre-release events at local stores starting July 24th with the global release on July 31st. That’s right! In the summer of 2009, I took a vacation to Wuhu Island. I spent the days swordfighting in its arena, wakeboarding around its shores, playing frisbee on its beaches, and refining my archery skills deep within its central volcano. It was a great summer spent playing Wii Sports Resort, the followup to the original cultural phenomenon and the game that introduced us to the new and improved Wii Motion Plus accessory (that would later be built into the Wii Remote itself). It was fun to play with family and friends, but I was always most intrigued by the setting itself. Wuhu Island was a paradise; a theme park disguised as a tropical resort constructed entirely around sports and the spirit of competition. I loved whenever I got to return to Wuhu Island in later Nintendo games. It appeared as the main setting of Pilotwings Resort on the 3DS’s launch day, a trio of tracks in Mario Kart 7, and a stage in Super Smash Bros. Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls has revealed its first Year 1 DLC character alongside its opening movie during a panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2026. The first DLC character for the upcoming 4v4 tag team fighting game is Phoenix Cyclops, voiced by Ray Chase. Chase voices Cyclops in Disney+ show X-Men '97 and hero shooter Marvel Rivals. The DLC character is inspired by his Phoenix Five incarnation from Avengers vs. X-Men, and uses the power of the Phoenix Force, made famous by fellow X-Men mutant, Jean Grey. Phoenix Cyclops is due out fall 2026 as the first of four DLC characters and one new stage coming during the game's first year. "Unleash devastating Optic Blasts, relentless close-range pressure, and the cosmic flames of the Phoenix Force," Arc System Works said of Phoenix Cyclops' fighting style. Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game has suffered a shock delay on Xbox just hours before it was due to come out, sparking a backlash from fans. The Paramount Games Studio-published fighting game, developed by Gameplay Group International, was due out today, July 23, across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, PC via Steam, and Nintendo Switch. But in a note to fans published just a few hours ago , Paramount said the Switch version will be available as the Standard Edition only, and crossplay with other platforms and language localization beyond English will not be available. “We are committed to bringing these features, along with upgrading to Deluxe Edition, to players as soon as possible and will keep you updated on our timeline and progress,” Paramount said. Pokémon Diamond and Pearl fans are celebrating the unofficial reveal of more than 100 previously-unseen designs, including early drafts of known creatures, numerous scrapped species, and cut evolutions. Evidence of a discarded Delibird and Kecleon evolutions, Stantler and Lapras pre-evolutions, plus what look like a baby Plusle and Minun are all briefly seen. Completely cut Pokémon include creatures based on a crane, crickets, snails, molluscs, goats, mice, a platypus, and a swordfish can also be seen, as well as plants such as beansprouts and clover. There's even different designs for the region's starter Pokémon, such as a foam-headed Water-type dog, and a Grass-type wolf. The source of these designs is a long-lost documentary made by Pokémon developer Game Freak that has never previously been seen in public. NASCAR 26 will be officially launched on September 18, 2026 (albeit following a three-day early access period for purchasers of the game’s higher-priced ‘Gold Edition’). A new developer diary published today , featuring producer Matt Lewis and creative director Mike DeVault, discussed a number of additions and improvements to this year’s game. NASCAR 26 will feature dynamic track surfaces, which will rubber in as race weekends progress. This evolution will open up new strategies as new racing lines become available. The team has also addressed some bugbears present in NASCAR 25 around road course track limits, as well as the fact that opponents would never retire – even following major incidents.
