Final Fantasy 7 Revelation director Naoki Hamaguchi has confirmed the remake trilogy's finale will feature "one singular ending" for everyone, but players will have a lot of freedom to shape Cloud's final chapter. The developer commented on Square Enix's approach to choice in the recently announced game during a conversation with GamesRadar+ . Like Remake and Rebirth before it, Revelation will put Cloud in situations that require him to make choices that can affect the world around him. Hamaguchi suggested that, as Square Enix aimed to drive home its theme of "resolve," the team didn't want fans to finish the story feeling like everyone had the same experience. Xbox says Gears of War: E-Day was not pulled from PlayStation "last-minute" after the company accidentally published an image showing Gears of War: E-Day with PS5 as one of its launch platforms. The official Xbox Podcast is responsible for the leak, which saw it mistakenly upload a version of a Gears deep dive that included the PlayStation mention. One version of a slide featured in the video included the same art shown during its grand reveal at the Xbox Games Showcase 2026, only with PS5 included on the list of platforms. Just a couple months after debuting in Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred, the Warlock is coming to Diablo Immortal on June 17. At least based on the announcement trailer for the new class, the Warlock looks extremely similar to its Diablo 4 counterpart, what with all the demons and the fiery chains that are surely going to cover the entire screen. It also looks like the story justification for the Warlock class is largely carrying over to the mobile game too. The narrator or the actual Warlock – it's not super clear – talks about how people "fear its dark power. I choose to wield it. I am the unstoppable, roaring answer to the darkness." The 'it' in this context is the power of Hell itself, which the Warlock uses to command demons to fight, well, other demons. At least in Diablo 4, this power comes with a cost, so hopefully there is some kind of story built into Diablo Immortal to explore the themes of the loss of control and corruption. The original Gothic , or Gothic Classic as Pollice said they now referred to it, celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. Even before the remake, the original had been remastered, and Pollice said he felt the reason for Gothic's longevity was "even by today's standards, it's still a very unique game with a lot of game mechanics that really hold up." Capcom has confirmed that Monster Hunter Wilds is in development for Nintendo Switch 2. The publisher behind the popular action-RPG promised a new version of its 2025 installment just hours after Summer Game Fest 2026 came to a close yesterday. It's the kind of announcement most players would have expected to see show up at a bigger summer showcase, or maybe even a Nintendo Direct, but instead, Capcom made its announcement with a simple two-sentence post on X/Twitter .
