Looks Like Sony Leaked the LEGO Horizon Adventures Release Date by Mistake

It looks like Sony accidentally published the LEGO Horizon Adventures release date on the PlayStation website. Gematsu reports that redditor foreveryoung1108 spotted a November 14 release date for the PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch spin-off on the PlayStation website. That release date is no longer live. According to https://t.co/L4tkx0LULC 's home page, LEGO Horizon Adventures is launching November 14. Possible Nintendo Direct announcement? LEGO Horizon Adventures has appeared at prior Nintendo showcase events, most recently June’s Nintendo Direct , so it would make sense that a release date would p

Monster Jam Showdown Review

If you’re on the hunt for an impractically large, American truck that doesn’t run on conventional fuel and looks ridiculous, are you going to go with a stainless steel Tesla triangle that wants to eat your fingers, or would you opt for an 11-foot tall, methanol-powered brute that can do literal backflips ? I know which one I’d choose. If my friends and family are going to dunk on me for driving a truck that looks deeply unserious, it’s going to be because it’s dressed like a spooky pirate. Monster Jam Showdown is equally devoted to these five-ton doofuses shaped like dogs and dinosaurs. While it’s very modest in scope, developer Milestone has injected this family-friendly racer with an enjoyably drift-heavy driving feel, a wild range of stunts, and great damage effects. Monster Jam Showdown ditches the open world approach of the otherwise mediocre Steel Titans games. It’s not something I miss personally, but this may come as a disappointment to anybody that previously relished ram

Sony Live Service Shooter Concord Debuts to a Tragic 697 Concurrent Players on Steam

Sony's live service shooter Concord, available on PlayStation 5 and PC, has debuted to a tragic 697 peak concurrent players on Steam. Data from player tracking website SteamDB reveals Concord, which debuted on August 20, 2024 through the $59.99 Digital Deluxe Edition or August 23 through the $39.99 Standard Edition, had a peak player count of 697 on August 23. Helldivers 2, another live service game from Sony which launched in February 2024, hit a peak concurrent player count of 155,926 during its opening weekend, The Finals hit 242,619, and even Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leage, which was dubbed a disappointment by Warner Bros. Discovery boss David Zaslav and caused a $200 million hit to revenue , debuted with 12,786 peak concurrent players on Steam. Concord's is just 5% of that number. Live service games typically enjoy the most success at launch and encounter a drop off in players after a few weeks or months, so such a poor debut doesn't bode well for Concor

Techland Removing Dying Light 2 Ultimate Edition From Sale After Saying Dying Light: The Beast Comes Free With It

Techland is removing the Dying Light 2: Stay Human Ultimate Edition from sale in September 2024 after promising anyone who owns it will gain access to Dying Light: The Beast for free. In a post on X/Twitter , Techland revealed the Ultimate Edition will be removed from sale on September 30, 2024. Anyone who owns it already or buys or upgrades to it before this date will retain all features and benefits, including a free version of The Beast. This is an upcoming four player cooperative entry that acts more as a first person shooter than a survival horror game and was originally developed as the long awaited "Story DLC 2" from Dying Light 2 before becoming a standalone project. The $99.99 Ultimate Edition of Dying Light 2 was set to include this Story DLC 2, but as this extra content has become a full game, they'll therefore receive it for free instead. "Dying Light: The Beast is a full standalone adventure that started life as DLC 2," Techland said on X/T

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater - The First Preview

Few games truly deserve the remake treatment as much as Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Arguably the best stealth-action game of its generation, back in 2004 it pushed the PlayStation 2 to its very limits – so much so that the hardware occasionally weighed down its ambitions. Twenty years later, a complete remake from Konami using the power of modern consoles has the potential to unlock the full, uncompromised vision of the game’s original creators. Instead, this new, Kojima-less Metal Gear Solid Delta seems more like a very shiny HD remaster than the elegant remake it could have been. It’s an admittedly beautiful nostalgia trip, but almost faithful to a fault. In a recent hands-on demonstration I was able to play through Metal Gear Solid Delta’s Virtuous Mission; a complete recreation of MGS3’s prologue built in Unreal Engine 5. It looks every bit as fantastic as you’d hope, particularly when it comes to character models – faces and clothing are a real highlight. The jungle is the
