GTA 6 will launch on November 19, 2026, Take-Two has said, reaffirming the announced release date and putting to bed delay fears. Warhorse Studios has revealed what it’s working on: a Lord of the Rings role-playing game and a new Kingdom Come game. In a post on social media , the Embracer-owned developer confirmed rumors that it was making a Lord of the Rings RPG, although it described the game as an “open world Middle-earth RPG.” The suggestion, then, is this game may not be set within the Lord of the Rings era of Tolkien’s fantasy setting. But it seems likely to follow the template established by the studio’s hugely popular Kingdom Come: Deliverance games. Embracer Group is spinning off Fellowship Entertainment, a new business unit designed to expand The Lord of the Rings and Tomb Raider, as well as breathe new life into some of the company’s dormant video game franchises. In a letter to investors , Lars Wingefors, founder and chair of Embracer, said the new Fellowship Entertainment will “more actively be exploring” external partnerships around its well-known IP, such as Saints Row, Legacy of Kain, Deus Ex, Red Faction, The Mask, Thief, TimeSplitters. The suggestion is we may see new games in these franchises, developed by studios that are not under the Embracer umbrella. Ubisoft has revealed in a new gameplay clip that players will be able to turn off the HUD at the press of a button without opening any menus. It's extremely seamless and allows players the chance to fully immerse themselves in the world.
